Ash Wednesday is February 14th. There will be services at 12 P.M. and again at 6:00 P.M.
Holy Thursday is March 29th. There will be a worship service at 6:00 P.M.
Good Friday is March 30th. There will be a worship service at 7:00 P.M.
Easter is Sunday, April 1. Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. with an Easter Brunch Potluck Meal to follow for anyone who would like to stay and share Easter gratitude, joy, and thanksgiving with family and friends. A potluck sign-up sheet will be posted in the fellowship hall.

Thank You to everyone who participated in the 2018 "Souper Bowl of Caring" and Chili Cook-off. The results of the cook-off and the financial contribution given to the Watertown Urban Mission will be printed in the next issue of The Concordia Trumpet. Special thanks goes to Pat Ryan for organizing the event.

Thank You to our financial secretary Carol Stacey for preparing the 2017 financial statements for those who contributed to Concordia through the envelope system and for preparing the 2018 envelope boxes for distribution. If you have any questions about your financial statement or envelopes, please ask Carol. We also thank Carol for her accuracy and diligence at inputting the financial data into our computer system.

Daylight Savings Time begins March 11th. Remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour!

Thank You to those who made special contributions to help cover major expenses (approx. $2400) resulting from repairs our heating system needed. If the Holy Spirit moves you to contribute, you can put your donation in an envelope, label it "Heat," and put it in the offering plate. Thank you!

The Mitten Tree collection yielded 65 hats and mittens which were joyfully received by the Watertown Urban Mission. Thanks to all the knitters and donors.

A Memorial was given in memory of Dennis Whelpley by Ginny & Larry Hasseler.

YOUTH GROUP collects cans and bottles in the youth room next to the church office as a yearlong fundraiser. They thank you for bringing in your "returnables" to support this project.
